CBP Commissioner
Alan Bersin discussed his agenda for revitalizing CBP's relationship with the trade community. It was his first address to the trade community since his appointment in March 2010.

Commissioner Bersin wants the U.S. to "stop looking at our borders as signs on a political map." He says U.S. borders should be secure gates for the flow of capital and people, and adds that the CBP has an incentive to have pre-clearance of shipments from trustworthy traders.
